We all know getting out of debt can be a somewhat grueling process. If you are like me and staring at a mountain of debt (six figures!), you know this is a marathon, not a sprint.
When times get tough, you can lean on some forms of motivation like a vision board, an accountability partner, a spouse, a podcast or even other blogs. It is so nice to not feel alone when you are in the thick of it and are wondering if the sacrifices and the effort are worth it.
When I need something more, these are the most common quotes I turn to over and over again when I am needing a little pick me up.
Debt payoff is hard. It requires saying no to yourself a lot. It requires saying no to others a lot. It is a tough thing to do.
If you are in the middle of your journey right now and feeling like you just want to be done and not deal with this anymore, I am here to tell you to just keep moving forward.
Keep your head down, take another step forward. Keep making those small steps over and over again. If you can keep moving forward, you are going to be successful. You are going to overcome obstacles in your way and you are going to destroy your debt.
If you are finding it hard to get motivated to keep making forward progress, turn to these quotes and think about the people who had to overcome obstacles just like you. They went through a trial. They faced adversity. They didn’t have things handed to them. They worked hard. They overcame. The kept pushing forward until they accomplished their goals.
You are not alone in this. You can do this. You are going to do this, one day and one small decision at a time.
